I 502 Draft Regulations Issued

The draft regulations for qualifying for one of the defined categories in Washington State’s “legal” cannabis industry have been issued.  The terrain has become more clearly defined, including the hurdles.  Given the unknown and know risks, attracting investors may be a challenge for many would be cannabis moguls.  It will likely be left to under-capitalized entrepreneurs or wealthy self-financed entrants to capture the golden ring.  It is also anticipated that many of the applicants will be cross-overs from the fledgling medical marijuana industry.  Below are links to both I-502 and the proposed rules.  The final rules are scheduled for release in mid-August.
